Can you install a fibreglass pool with tight side access?

Yes. This Brighton pool went in through an access gap of just one metre. Tight access needs careful planning and the right lifting equipment, but it rarely rules a fibreglass pool out. We assess your site early so we know exactly how the shell will reach the backyard before we start.

Can you add a spa to a fibreglass pool?

Yes. A spa can sit alongside a fibreglass pool as a separate feature, sharing the same paved area. For this Brighton project we positioned the spa under the alfresco, so it stays shaded and usable through the cooler months, not just over summer. It gives the family somewhere to relax year round.

What is the best way to make a backyard feel connected?

Consistent materials are the key. Running the same stone paving around the pool, spa and alfresco makes the whole yard read as one space rather than separate zones. For this Brighton backyard, a light stone deck, glass fencing and simple planting tie the pool, spa and lawn together.

This Brighton family wanted one thing above all: a space where they could spend time together, at home, without needing to go anywhere. The result is an Escape 5 in Spring with a separate spa, set into a light stone deck that ties the compact backyard together.
The tricky part was access. At just one metre, the side of the property left us very little room to work with, which takes careful planning and the right equipment to get a shell in cleanly. We positioned the spa under the alfresco area, so it sits in the shade and works as a year round spot rather than just a summer one. Landscaping was by Clemray Outdoor Constructions, whose planting and finishes soften the edges and give the space a relaxed, established feel.

We had no idea what we were looking for when we decided to install our pool. We had at least five different companies come out to provide quotes and advice, but Shannon and Justin from Tanzanite Pools were simply fantastic. They explained everything thoroughly, and the finished product speaks for itself. Our pool has been installed for six months now, and they are still happy to answer any silly questions I have. We recently had an inground pool installed by Tanzanite Pools at our home in Botanic Ridge and honestly couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The whole process was super easy from start to finish. The team always showed up when they said they would, communication was great, and the pool was completed within the timeframe we were given. We didn't have a single issue throughout the build. A huge shoutout to Shannon, who was amazing from the very beginning. She was so helpful, friendly, and always quick to answer any questions we had. Justin, the owner, was also fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable, really easy to deal with, and always happy to help whenever we needed advice. The pricing was very reasonable, the workmanship was excellent, and we're absolutely loving our Escape pool in White Pearl. Having always dreamed of owning our own pool, we were initially discouraged when several pool companies told us our backyard wasn’t suitable. We refused to give up, and then we found Tanzanite Pools.
